How do I know that my files are being backed up?
If your files are not being backed up a message will appear on your screen as soon as you start your computer. You should check your log files by clicking on the Log tab and opening the most recent backup log file in the list. Any files which have not been backed up will be listed at the bottom of the log file.
You can also click on the Backup View tab and when the scan has finished, any files needing to be backed up will be listed. Clicking on Backup Now will start an immediate backup of the files in the list.
We recommend that you check that your files are being backed up by clicking on START, then ALL PROGRAMS then BACKUPMYSTUFF.
To see if a particular file has been backed up click on the “Retrieve View” tab and locate your files.
