What are Encryption Keys?
BackupMyStuff uses the latest encryption techniques to keep your data safe. To help protect your data we use encryption keys to scramble your data before it gets transmitted to the vault. Therefore, nobody can read it, not even us. Without an encryption key your data cannot be unscrambled.

If you ever need to reinstall your software you will need to contact us to get your encryption key re-issued. We may require you to prove your identity before we re-issue your encryption key. We will never ask you for your encryption key and you should never reveal your encryption key to anyone.
